Weekend Question?

Weekend Question is a fun way to get to know my followers. I enjoy knowing little tidbits of your lives.

Weekend Question?

What's your preference... Hardback, Paperback or Eread?

Ah, this actually depends on the type of read it is for me.  If it's a romance I prefer eread. If it's one of my favorite books I have to have it in PB, I like to bend the spines making it feel like home to me. LOL. Hardback are not really my fav.

So What about you?

My absolute favourite is hardback because they look much prettier on my bookshelf and are less likely to be damaged. I like paperbacks too but I can't stand it when my books get damaged, even if it's just a slight bend! Pretty different from you, eh?

That would be hardbacks because they last longer, followed by paperbacks because they're easier to read. I don't do ebooks they just aren't the same. :)

I have a nook, but I still love the feel of a book in my hands. All of the steamy romance novels I read are in ebook form since we have 5 teenage boys in the house. lol I mostly read paperbacks, but if it's a book that I want to keep on my shelf forever, then I buy the hardback.

Excellent question.

If it's a classic, a hardcover.

If it's a romance, a paperback.

But I hate mass market paperback size. Too tiny and constricting.

I have to say I never really liked hardback books but recently they've been growing on me. (Especially as I'm starting to have paperbacks fall apart of me)

At this point, I don't really have a preference either way, I just buy books in whichever form I see them at the store. Except for series, in which case I buy them all in hardback or all in paperback.

I've tried getting into ebooks because I enjoy reading books online so much, but it's just not the same. The ereaders are hard for me to keep a relaxed hold on like a print book. Plus I feel like if I'm paying for something, I want a physical item.

There's 4 of us and each has a different preference. 1 likes ebooks best, 1 likes hardcovers best, and the other 2 prefer paperbacks.

No e-reads for me...still holding out against an e-reader.

Hardbacks are my favorite, followed by trade paperbacks.

I have never liked reading a mass market size paperback :(

I like hardcovers the most especially if the books are a part of a series. I like seeing the spines line up and the matching spines.

I don't like eBooks, hate them, it's just another thing to ruin my already crappy eyesight. I mean sometimes I need to give my eyes a rest from computers and gadgets.

I perfer hardbacks but I do like paperbacks too. It all depends on what version of the books in that series are. If they're paperbacks then I want them all to be paperbacks, if they're hardbacks then they all have to be hardbacks.

Hardbacks and paperbacks (translation: actual BOOKS) are my preference, but chosing between the two is hard. Hardbacks stay nicer longer, but they're also heavier. Paperbacks are lighter, but the spines break easier.
