Weekend Question? (Happy Easter)

Weekend Question is a fun way to get to know my followers. I enjoy knowing little tidbits of your lives.

Weekend Question?

What are some of your Easter Tradition?

Growing up The Easter Bunny would hide eggs and our Easter Basket. So I am passing the hiding the Easter Basket on to my son. My husband has his own Easter traditions, so we made sure my son got a sugar lamb in his basket.  I'm still not sure what or why, Guess I should ask. OOoo and I can't forget the Zurek soup. MMMM!  I hope you and your loved one are having a HAPPY EASTER!

Am I the only one who hates jellybeans?

So What about you?

When I was little my dad use to hide our easter baskets and we'd have to search the house for them. Then when we got older he made elaborate easter egg hunts with clues, that lead to more clues, that ultimately lead to the grand gift. Happy Easter!

We don;t have any Easter traditions but what I like to do is go shopping for cheap candy after easter.

We actually got a visit by the Easter Rooster and he left eggs behind, and on Easter Saturday we dressed as witches and went "trick or treating". Loved it as a kid, all the candy I got, yum. And it was said that dressing up as witches scared the witches that went to dance with the devil

Often we had to have our Easter inside. Sometimes it was too cold or there was too much snow to do a good egg hunt. Only bad thing... if you missed an egg... you found it much later under some odorous circumstances. :P lol

Oh, I'm not fond of Cadbury Eggs. :P :P

Happy Easter!

Our traditions were eggs hidden around the house and an Easter basket outside the door. There's also always a pez dispenser in the basket and this year we found the chirping chicks, which is something I always had in my basket. Also peeps even though no one seems to like them much...

We definitely do the egg hunt too, and my son colored eggs for the first time this year which he thought was SO cool! I made a Weekend Question post...you can see it *HERE*

We do coloring of Easter eggs and a hunt every year as well, but this year we didn't as the kids are just a little too old for all of that. I am curious about this sugar lamb. Where would one find a sugar lamb?

Interesting traditions...and it's great that you are passing them on to your son. Memories in the making. Happy (belated) Easter! ^_^ (Oh and no...I'm not a jelly bean lover either, though I can stomach some of the Jelly Belly kind.)
