It was a Dutch book called 'Ik wil naar de Maan kijken'. Translated: I want to look at the Moon. :) Such a fun story.

I can't even remember what my favorite childhood book was, lol. I really wish I would have read Narnia as a child though.

I absolutely loved my compilation of illustrated fairy tales. I don't know why I love fairy tales so much, but I did and still do. :)

And to Jenny's comment, I LOVED Roald Dahl! The first book my parents discovered me reading in the middle of the night when I was supposed to be sleeping was Matilda -- lol, the irony.

Hmm...I suppose it depends how far back we're talking. When I was little, I favored two lesser known books. Miss Muggs.....and Fairy Poems for Young Children. I can still recite one of the poems from that book to this day. ^_^

Meg Cabot's mediator series was one of my favorites. And then Dean Koontz WATCHERS and LIGHTNING are my favorites because they were my first 'adult' books I read when I was a youngster. I still love them!

Mine was 'The Twits' by Roald Dahl. After that I bought ALL of Roald Dahl's books and would kiss and cuddle them daily :)
