Weekend Question?

Weekend Question is a fun way to get to know my followers. I enjoy knowing little tidbits of your lives.

Weekend Question

Have you read a book and didn't care for the title?

I recently read Drought and the title does go with the book but I didn't care for the title.  I didn't feel it gave YA readers a grasping title. I am no expert mind you but It doesn't grab your attention.  So what have you read and have not cared about the title.

Yes I have! Although titles don't make are break a book, there have been a couple of times I have read a book and said where on earth did they get that title? I like the book to have some connection to the title. There have also been a couple of great books where the title kind of turned me off until someone reviewed it or recommended it to me. Titles do sell a book, maybe not as much as the cover, but they do influence people. Great question!

Great question to ask! Let me think... Kissed a Zombie and I liked it by Adam Selzer! That title and cover was a bit yuck!

I can't think of one now, but Swedish titles are always so very very very bad! Ugh for translations

I know I have. I think the visual cover has given me more trouble than a bad title... I admit. :)

Oh yah! All the time. But I usually have more of a problem with the cover than the name. Great question :)

I dont think I've ever had a problem with the title but I always look for the title in the story or the relation.
