Weekend Question

Weekend Question is a fun way to get to know my followers. I am also excited to hear your answers!

Weekend Question

If you could choose to live in any one book which would it be?

I would like to try living in Restoring Harmony, In her neck of the woods not the rest of the world. I think it would be great to see how things can start anew. Though I don't have a green thumb I can cook just about anything from scratch.

I'd also like to step into any Sherrilyn Kenyon Dark Hunters book. They are kick butt.

Happy Weekend!

Short answer this week; didn't have much to say. Thanks for another great question! ;)

Also, I have to get to reading Restoring Harmony. The cover looks pretty, and I've heard it's really good.

I am reading Restoring Harmony right now and I can completely understand what you are saying. Being able to make a community that is self sufficient would be great--growing, storing, and making foods that you raised yourself. Her family's home sounds like a little paradise in a torn up world.

If I were to live in a book, I think I might choose to live in Tamora Pierce's world of in the Song of the Lioness Quartet. I loved her descriptions of Tortall. That series remains one of my favorites.

Hmmm, my answer is probably biased to the book I'm reading right now, but I'd have to say the Beautiful Creatures world. I love the idea of a small southern town that seems ordinary but is anything but. I live in a city now that is surrounded by Civil War battlefields and is only slightly more progressive than Gatilin, so at least that aspect of the world seems real to me!

Ohhhh, I have no idea... maybe one of Julia Templetons Rakehills of Rochester books. Historical Romance Erotica with sinfully dilicious rogues. Yes please.

I know I may be late on this but, I love your blog layout... is it new? I'm thinking it is, I haven't been here in a while but it certainly looks different. lol.

Thats a tough question really.I'm not sure i want to live in any book, but visiting might be nice. I'd visit Rachel Morgan in kim Harrisons witch series, but not while the demon was at her house LOL

In a fantasy book, but which one? Jordan's world can be so scary, Feist's Midkemia could be nice, but then there is Tolkien and elves ;)

So maybe I am showing my age a bit (I am 40 after all), but I think living in the Little House books by Laura Ingalls Wilder would be so lovely! I loved the books and really loved the show when I was little--which would be many, many years ago....

oooh, that's a good question. I have to think about that one. I love the Victorian era, but to live there forever, mmm, I don't know. Emma by Jane Austen. I just had to choose it.

I don't know if I can pick one particular book but I would love to live in Victorian England.

I would love to go live in the Highlands with either the Fraser family that Diana Gabaldon has let me fall in love with or the MacGregor clan that Paula Quinn has created... Love all things Scottish and medieval era even though it would be kind of hard for me with my stubborn mind set but my "romantic soul" might just allow me to make it despite that...

Nice to have you back Liz!

Despite all the scary stuff going on, I would TOTALLY live in the Neverending Story! All that fantasy amazingness - awesome!

I'd definitely have to say either Harry Potter --yes, I'm serious--o General Winston's Daughter. Both had interesting settings and what happened was so much more interesting than everyday matters that occur to us in life.

Well, there's probably a lot of books I would want to live in, but since I just finished Crescendo, I'd probably have to say that one. Mostly because I'm totally in love with Patch!

Hmmm, I really don't know. But if I were to choose any of the books I like to read i would really have to upgrade the contents in my purse to heavier artillery.
