Kathleen McKenna Interview

Today we welcome Kathleen McKenna! She is the Author of The Wedding Gift. If you have not read my the book well then You are missing out!

What inspires you to write?

It can be anything, a news story a gossip piece on pop eater, getting lost in the garden district in New Orleans and seeing a beautiful white house. Tons of things interest me, but if I'm still thinking about it an hour later, and start googling, there might be a book.

If you could pick a scary book that you would recommend what would it be?

Argh its a tie, so I'll say both. The Girl in the swing Richard Adams, and Come Closer by Sara Gran...neither book will EVER leave the reader.

Do you feel Karma played a role in The Wedding Gift?

Great question...hmm yes in that Miz Bethany got hers to a degree, but poor George, maybe more revenge then Karma and there is that awesome old saying if you seek revenge dig two graves one for them one for yourself.

Is there going to be a sequel? It was good enough to enjoy a second round.

Its already written, its called The Comeback, this one is Jessie's book, I'm leaving on Sunday to meet the family who lives at the unbelievably scary house where book three will be set, also Miz Bethany makes an appearance in book III (unfortunately lol)

Now for my fun question. What's better  Beach Reading or Park Reading?

Ouch hard one, I'm crazy about beaches...but for reading gotta go with the park, cause my last two beach books went bye bye when the waves came lol, (and my ipod .()

Thank you for doing this interview!

Great much fun! Definitely there with her on the Park Reading for lack of wave action, but the solitude of a winter beach is quite lovely as well.... *daydreams*
