Lisa Grace Interview (EED)

A big WELCOME to Lisa Grace for taking some time to answer a few questions!

What draws you to Angels?

I loved books about the supernatural when I was a teen. I write the kind of books I enjoy reading. The supernatural in the Bible  is real so I wanted to show how the two realms can intertwine and affect our day-to-day decisions. You can look at the variety of angels mentioned in the Bible, the arch angel, the wheels, cherubim, seraphim, and see they are all unique and have different purposes; but there is so much more to the supernatural world than just angels. You also have your dominions, principalities, powers, mights, etc ... The Bible mentions at least 12 types of supernatural creatures. I think we should have our own genre separate from the man-made supernatural creatures like werewolfs and vampires. That is why my tag line says, "The difference between vampires and angels? Angels are real." I will be incorporating more of the real supernatural creatures into my future novels in the series and in my one I'm planning now, which follows a twenty-something protagonist, called Society of the D. E. A. D.
 Have you seen a Angel?

No, I can't say I have been blessed (yet) with the ability to see angels. I do know I have the gift of discernment when it comes to recognizing the truth of God's word. Do I think people have seen angels? Yes. One of my former Pastor's was guided out of a white-out snow storm by an angel driving a bright orange semi-truck. The truck dissappeared after running him off unto the exit ramp by a truck stop. Most people who have angelic encounters don't realize it until after the fact. Many seem to take place in very desparate situations. We should not pray to angels as they are a creation, like us. But God does use them to help and protect us.

When did you know writing was what you wanted to do?

I've been  writing stories from the age of five. The difference is I've never tried to get anything published until now.

Now for my Random question.  How far East can you before you are going West?

You can go East till you hit the rising sun and don't forget your sunscreen.

Thank You Lisa for stopping in and answering my questions!

Great interview! The Bible is full of very interesting things and is often used as a basis for many storylines. Angels have become a very popular topic and I look forward to reading more about them.

I enjoyed the interview and Lisa Grace's answer about the variety of angels. The Christian angelic hierarchy is not a well known subject. I look forward to her book.
