Synopsis
The undead can really screw up your senior year . . .
Marrying a vampire definitely doesn’t fit into Jessica Packwood’s senior year “get-a-life” plan. But then a bizarre (and incredibly hot) new exchange student named Lucius Vladescu shows up, claiming that Jessica is a Romanian vampire princess by birth—and he’s her long-lost fiancĂ©. Armed with newfound confidence and a copy of Growing Up Undead: A Teen Vampire’s Guide to Dating, Health, and Emotions, Jessica makes a dramatic transition from average American teenager to glam European vampire princess. But when a devious cheerleader sets her sights on Lucius, Jess finds herself fighting to win back her wayward prince, stop a global vampire war—and save Lucius’s soul from eternal destruction.
My Review
As some of you may know, I still love vampires. (anything supernatural/paranormal) So around page 66 of the I knew I was in love. hehe. Jessica's character was a typical American teen trying to start anew as a senior. It was supposed to be her year, that is until Lucius stepped into her life. Ooo this book was comical too. I had a fabulous time reading this. The emotions were everywhere in the book. I enjoyed the ending the most because I really felt Jessica found her voice. I can say that Lucius' character was not a role-model type. At times I could have smacked him myself. If you have not read this yet I would say it's a go for going out and getting it for your selves.

Lucius and Lucien are such vampire-y names. I love how "dark" the cover is, and how the story sounds from your review. I'll be sure to bookmark page 66 if I get this :D

This is one I have on my book waiting list - so many books, so little time. Life should be family, books, and then laundry but alas.
Thanks for the review!

GREAT review :) I gotta read this.
Totally agree!
I loved this book. I received it from the publisher to review and was initially skeptical - to me, the cover-art and title just scream "tween" (I would have guessed a 12-14 readership) so I was really shocked at how much I *LOVED* it!
I my mind, Lucius leaves Edward Cullen for dead! lol
Thank you for your review! I'll receive this book soon and now I can't wait to read it! Yesterday I saw it also in Italian and I was so tempted to buy it! >_<'
