Barbara Dee & Cynthia Roberts Shout Out (EED)

Well today is your last chance to gain extra entries. Unless you have not visited previous posts. Birthday Phenomenon will end May 31st. I will post the winners ASAP. I have a few thousand entries to figure out.

Today is Shout-Out Day. This means I will be giving a shout out to the Authors who have participated in the Birthday Phenomenon. They have all gone above and beyond to make this event happen. So what better way to thank them, then stopping by their sites!

Cynthia Roberts
Cynthia has been writing since a Crayola was placed in her hand. Her love of reading romance fiction goes back to those early years when she was raising a young family and her passion later grew to taking up the pen herself and Wind Warrior was born.

"I wish I could have gotten to this point in my career much sooner rather than later but, life simply got in the way far too many times. I know because of those detours I have become a more passionate and expressive writer as I draw upon those painful moments in my past when I need to create the kind of raw emotion I want my readership to feel. What is it they say ... write what you know? Well, I have been there and lived what many will never experience in a life time.

My wish is that my audience walk away with not only an entertaining read but a sense of comfort in knowing that whatever is going on in their lives there truly will be a rainbow at the end of their journey. Even if the road in life you are forced to travel is more trying than others and your prayers seem to go unanswered, faith is knowing one of two things will happen ... you will either allow the darkness to engulf you or you will learn how to soar like an eagle."

My favorite part of Barbara's site is the fun book covers.

Since I have a mind that is always thinking of colors I love the colors on Cynthia's site. They go so well with the type of books she writes.

Cynthia Roberts - I loved the romantic photo slide with all the diverse couples and the loving quote is outstanding. I liked what she said about life's journey on her author's page. The book(s) info is easy to find in one place -the video (loved the music), the book cover, the synopsis, reviews, and when the sequel is coming out. Also the excerpts for both books.

Barbara Dee - The scrapbook design is fun and quirky. It was entertaining flipping through each page with the sticky notes and the index cards leading to more links. The photo of her journal at age five was adorable. (the robot has good taste, I love Spanish rice too)

I love the beautiful and calming header on Cynthia Roberts' site. It really goes well with the romance theme, plus the quote is so true! 'Deep within us all is a single magic, a single power, a single salvation ... and that is called loving.'

Barbara Dee's website is SO cute and FUN! I love the scrap book layout and how each of her book is described in a few words, on the same page.
Plus her books' covers ROCK!

1. Barbara Dee's 'notebook' on the front page is so cute, it fits the whimsical theme of her new book.

2. Cynthia Robert's website was ethereal. I adored the pictures on the screen of couples and the romantic saying beneath them, plus the leaf detail at the top of the page.

Two extra entries please! Thanks!

I really love this quote on Cynthia's site, "Deep within us all is a single magic, a single power, a single salvation ... and that is called loving." - couldn't have been said better! Hah and the first line of her bio "...been writing since a Crayola was placed in her hand".

I love the design of Barbara's website, so cool! And her FAQ page, I enjoyed reading her answers. Two great authors with what looks like awesome books!

I like the artwork and the photo montage on Cynthia's frontpage. It really sets the tone for the site.

I do find publisher's Author's pages a bit unclear to navigate but I love the clear and orderly presentation of the authors information, especially the bibliography.
