Just when the book started to lag Alyson Noel threw me a curve ball. The twists to the ploy made up for the lack of real story. After all the problems with Roman she gets hit with Jude. I just felt it had to many little stories and didn't stick to the main part and that would be to find an antidote. The ending was good enough for me to hang on to till the next book in the series. I also feel there wasn't enough Damen and Ever time to show the true bond the 2 have with each other. This is a great book if you have read the previous books in the series. It may not have been her best but it keeps you satisfied and wanting more.
